Nice. Still waiting for my order. Can't wait!
Interesting show, guys. Turns out there's a Benelli dealer just a few miles from house. I'm going to check them out.
Does anyone know when the 2024 video will be released?
I said understeer when I meant counter steering. I'm sure it's not the only stupid thing I said,
Nice to see British biker culture being represented by the rider with the Ton Up Boys & Ace Café patches the back of his jacket (even if he's riding a BMW !!) 👍🏽
The World’s Fastest Indian shoulda made this list.
You're right Robert, I love that movie. I think we'll do a sequel episode down the road. We certainly missed a ton of great movies.
Beautiful
I was asked to tune the carb in one of those parachute engines. I said “no way!” The customer convinced me to do it by saying “hey don’t worry, if the engine fails I can just float down and if you won’t tune it and nobody else will I’m gonna fly it anyway.” We had a blast holding the thing in place and reving and tuning.
There are 8 outback locations in Australia according to the Google box. 🥩🔪🇦🇺🪃
who pays ticket when you run red light camera?
You guys are making me look like a BMW/Ducati guy but I gotta say you missed the best Motorcycle movies. 3. On Any Sunday, 1&2. 2. Bruce Brown’s 1967 Hare and Hound Classics 1. The Best Bar in America. “If you know the facts, please educate us.” There you go, the facts. Ducky Bob
We certainly missed a ton of great movies and we'll have to add yours to our list when we do a part 2. Thanks for the comment!
“Who’s worse, BMW guys or Ducati guys?” Had to laugh, my two bikes are a BMW and a Ducati. Riding in mismatch gear mostly from CycleGear and my workboots.
Thanks guys, I have been focusing more on moto stuff lately and it’s really cool to listen/watch a podcast produced local. I have shown up for the Cathedral a couple times. Probably seen you there.
I’m enjoying this channel. Yes I fall into the BMW Adventure bike group. I have been wearing KLIM gear for 10 years now. Yes it’s expensive but it last. And the airflow is wonderful for something that can be water tight. Wearing plastic gear you end up sweating in the Florida heat and you’re just as wet from perspiration as you would’ve been from the rain. With Gore-Tex and gear that has zipper ventilation. That doesn’t happen.
You were both right about the Fonz. He road a purple Harley sportster early on. Later he switched to a Triumph Trophy 500.
You can be our fact checker! :)
KLIM -- google says it sounds like "kim" but wikipedia says it's pronounced like "climb". Interesting discussion, guys. Digging the gear behind you, particularly that photo on the wall over Bryan's shoulder! 🏍
8 1/2 minutes before you rev. 🤦🏼♂️
So I have a Thruxton RS chrome edition… I’m running the dark shield, but once I saw your side mirrors … I had to have it … they are so much sexier than the OEM rounded ones … I think it matches the shape of the tank … thanks for a great video…
Powdercoat the wheels engine covers and carb/injector side cap you will be wrapped with the transformation
I've had my Honda VTR Firestorm since 98 and I bet it does everything this one does and it's even faster, more powerful and more beautiful
What a load of crap 🙄
@@flamintasty its true that bike is a piace of 🤫
When I picked up my used Thruxton R from the previous owner, immediately felt that something was off in the handling. Bike seemed quick to dive on the front-end and felt quick to turn-in / lean when going left. Bike was barely used by the previous owner and the price was too good...I'LL TAKE IT! When I got home and methodically went through every suspension setting, found that many of the adjustments were NOT equal on both sides, and the front forks were set to SQUISHY! Always check / double-check somone else's work.
video 5 years ago .. so do you still own the bike ?
I love mine it's a 2019 in British racing green. I have a grin on my face every time I ride it, I will keep it for every.
The gas cap is annoying. Wish it did have no clutch start or keyless go, but other than that, y, you get tired of talking to bros at a gas station. And everyone wants to take photos. Like PS Classic, it gets respect on waves. Except for old Harley jerks. The Zers love it because it's so stylish and retro. Will never sell this bike.
U can rotate the cap
Thanks for the idea… I got the Thruxton RS chrome edition with black dolphin fairing … I’m putting the TFS screen on …
Can you please tell me about the ground clearance of this bike ,tha ks in advance
What brand are your side mirrors
Ive had mine for 5 years! will one day pass it onto my son.
Your favourite Moto blogger is Jack from RevZilla !! 😂😂
I THINK THAT YOU HAVE TO RIDE YOUR BIKE - INSTEAD OF POLISHING ALL THE TIME !!!!!!!
Hi! Wondering about ride ergonomics & comfort. What is your height and weight? How long can you ride before it starts to get painful?
I had the privilege of working on this bike and color at our shop. Could not believe the level of detail in even the most tiniest parts. It is one of the most beautiful bikes I've ever seen.
have you ever experienced rear light and horn not working together? going through that right now and Im curious to see how many people have gone through that
Thank you.
Does it fit a motorcycle helmet inside? Thanks!
No
Have you noticed that American people tend to jabber on and on.... before getting to the point.....over 7 mins of babbling
Nice video, glad you could make it!
Nice to see you back, thanks again for your videos.
Wow thats, what 200 mile round trip? Love the Thruxton I have an 2019 in British racing green. Always have people stop and ask about it. Oh BTW shove a newspaper down yeah jacket and it will keep the cold out best is brown paper sheets from Burger King.
We have the world famous Ace Cafe here in London, England. Can't beat a group ride-out. Great video.
The Thruxton is the most gutless 1200 cc bike I ever made the mistake of buying. 10 days into ownership and Im over it. Vibration plus to barely get down the road. Like riding a small trail bike.
Ive had one for 2 weeks and I would sell it right now . Its gutless. Its got fuck all torque. Anyonevwho thinks this bike has power must have come off a 250 . Its a docile moderate performing machine , thays it. Its yet another crap Triumph twin just like the underwhelming 900 and the 1600. If i could get my $18000 back I would sell it.
That bike is kinda like the Nirvana grunge of bikes. It's retro and calculated but quirky and doesn't GAF, compared to the hair metal Harleys of the 80s.. Zers all going insane for the Thruxton.
Hello, nice bike, great sound, is your exhaust in this video the vance and Hines aftermarket with x pipe decat
Vey nice review, thank you. You didn't mentioned about seating position....is this bike comfortable? I mean how far forward handlebars are let's say compare to sportsbikes like GSXR?
It is still one of the most beautiful motorcycles on the road... that same one with the black rims is a delight... nice machine and good man... greetings from Spain.
Did you know that you can now get a Supercharger for it. 171 HP and 175 Nm.
Looks grate!
why did you start the bike so we can hear the Vance and Hines?
the trhuxton can be 100 years old and it will always be a beautiful bike...and a reference...greetings
